Wonderful World of Coffee in Cologne

This years SCAE Wonderful World of Coffee took place in Cologne at the Coffeena show from June 26th to 28th 2009. With 84 exhibitors and approx. 3.550 visitors this was a succsessful event for SCAE and also us. SCAE will host Wonderful World of Coffee in combination with the World Barista Championship (WBC) in June 2010 in London. 

MAHLKÖNIG equipped the SCAE competitions (World Latte Art and Coffee in Good Spirits) with the models K30 Vario and K30 TWIN. 85 % of the competitors used a MAHLKÖNIG grinder for their performance, which is a great proof of concept for our grinders. The event convinced with numerous international exhibitors and baristas with their respective teams arriving from all over the world.

World Coffee in Good Spirits Champion: Edmund Marta Piigli from Estland
World Cup Taster Champion: Valentina Kazachkova from Russia
World Cezve Ibrik Champion: Christina Koumpouni from Greece
