To improve service handling and dosing precision of our epresso grinders we have redesigned the interior grinder casing. The following changes have been implemented:
1. The grind adjustment thread now has a brass ring for easier service and cleaning of the disc chamber. This prevents blockages of the grind adjustment due to coffee particles in the thread.
2. The spout has been re-engineered with a silicone flapper to produce an even and smooth ground coffee appearance in the portafilter. In addition the dosing accuracy was improved with this redesign. The new built-in grinder is 100% retrofittable to the K30 or K30 TWIN. For exchange procedures please contact your local dealer or your Area Sales Manager of your region respectively.
These changes are effective as of now for all K30 ES, K30 Vario and K30 TWIN that leave the factory in Hamburg.
